No. Buchanan Studio furniture and fabric is exclusively from us. However, we can deliver globally thanks to our trusted delivery partners.

Absolutely. All of our fabrics, and a wide selection of our furniture, are available to view in our west London studio. Visits are encouraged, please reach out to [email protected] to make an appointment, we will be delighted to meet you! Please let us know in advance of your visit in case there is a particular product you would like to see. In case you can't make it to see us in person, samples, spec sheets and further images are always available on request.

Customer own collection is available from our London studio if a client has a preferred delivery company in mind. Please ensure to ask the relevant information, such as dimensions and forms such as commercial invoices/ packing lists if needed. Items must be collected within 2 weeks of arrival or storage charges may apply. Buchanan Studio will provide updates of production and give plenty of warning of estimated date of arrival to our studio.

The Studio Sofa and Studio Chair is in 1 piece and does not dismantle, only the seat cushions are removeable. Please see the measurements on our website/ spec sheets. If you can think of any difficulties regarding the delivery, please let us know in advance of delivery. For UK customers, our delivery partner can often conduct an access check and offer specialist install equipment such as a hoist if needed, please enquire for further information.

Yes, reserves can be placed on stocked items for 1 week. This can then be extended for another week on request. Please note, we are likely to hold stock of some of the Studio Chairs, Studio Footstools, cushions and candles, as well as most fabrics, however other items of furniture are made-to-order. A paid order will always secure stock/ a place in the production queue. Please reach out to [email protected] to place a reserve or to check stock.

Yes, A5 samples are available of the entire Buchanan Studio Collection. Please visit the samples section of our website or email [email protected]. Leather & Shearling samples are also available on request, please enquire.

Our furniture is handcrafted in England, using a combination of traditional techniques and innovative technology by a highly skilled team of craftspeople who are committed to quality and integrity. The workshop- based in Long Eaton- has been a highly regarded and established leader in upholstered furniture since the 1930s, which is why Buchanan Studio have carefully selected them to contruct our designs to the highest quality.

The Studio Chair is made from a combination of foam and feather, with a sturdy traditional timber frame and sprung base. The chair gives the illusion of 5 cushions ‘floating’ together, but has more structure than might appear. It was important to us for the chair to feel deeply comfortable and supportive, but also to retain its form even after years of use. We are happy that we have struck that balance right. The sofa is made with the similar techniques as the chair, but it is extra deep and there is also a higher proportion of feather in the seat cushions for extra squishiness.

Yes, we offer CFAs. Please note that CFAs are sent upon payment of full order and are free of charge however we do charge for delivery. We will dispatch the full order of fabric as soon as we have received confirmation of approval on the CFA. Please advise in case the the CFA delivery address is different from your fabric delivery address at the time of your order.
